John Propp Commercial Group, established in 1997, is a full service Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Company located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. We provide a wide range of services and expertise to Owners, Users and Investors of commercial real estate.

John V. Propp, CCIM, has a long history of extensive experience in assisting Owners and Users of real estate. His clients include individuals and corporations both locally and nationally. John has experience in locating, analyzing, acquiring, managing and marketing properties of all types.

John considers himself a “student of the business,” committed to staying on top of his industry. This is proven by him being awarded the coveted CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation in 1998. The CCIM designation curriculum is demanding, rigorous, and ranked as the best and most practitioner-oriented education in the industry; the Ph.D. of commercial investment real estate. CCIMs effectively direct local, national, and international commercial real estate transactions.

John Propp Commercial Group is a Realtor Organization®. Surprisingly, not all commercial real estate agents are Realtors. In fact, most are not. To have the honor of using the Realtor name and logo, an agent must be a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), as well as a member of their State and Local Realtor Associations. The National Association of Realtors is one of the most powerful lobbying forces in Washington D.C. Locally, the Colorado Association of Realtors (CAR) constantly monitors and influences legislation that affects the business of real estate. Realtors must adhere to a Code of Ethics and Standard of Practice, and are required to submit to mandatory arbitration in matters of commission disputes, thereby keeping buyers and sellers out of the courts. John Propp Commercial Group has been, and continues to be, heavily involved in the Realtor community. John V. Propp, CCIM - President

John’s skills, fanatical attention to detail, extreme proficiency with numbers, responsiveness, patience, negotiation, compassion, assertiveness, diplomacy, CCIM education, and most importantly, sales ability, are perfectly suited to the real estate management business. John is equally comfortable working with the National Corporate Retailers as he is with the Mom and Pop business owners that make up such a large portion of the retail business. As a matter of fact, John is one of the few who truly enjoy the day to day challenges of managing property and people. As an owner of real estate, John has the perspective needed to make prudent decisions that have a positive long-term effect on the profitability and viability of any project. Joshua Cohen, Senior Broker

Joshua Cohen graduated from Colorado State University with a multiple concentration in commercial real estate, finance, and construction management, and has been working in the commercial real estate business since 2009. Prior to joining John Propp Commercial Group, Joshua worked for Fuller Real Estate and Unique properties where he developed a keen ability to achieve the results his clients have come to expect from a real estate professional. He has assisted clients in the selling, purchasing, and leasing of over 300 million dollars’ worth of transactions. Joshua is a principal owner on multiple commercial properties and understands intimately all the moving parts involved in selling, buying, leasing and managing an asset.

Joshua has sold, leased, and assisted on individual projects in excess of Twenty Five Million dollars, and completed over 50 million dollars’ worth of transactions in 2020-2021 alone. He has also represented national and local tenants/landlords in the Denver market. Being a fourth-generation Coloradoan, Joshua has the network, background, and ability to see any project to its end. Working with landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers, Joshua has a strong understanding of what motivates each side and how to use that information to accomplish one’s goals. Joshua specializes in owner/user & investment real estate across all product types whether to sell, purchase, or re-position an asset. Using a proven process Joshua has the market expertise to advise clients on current and future real estate decisions for their companies, investment portfolio or combination of both. Joshua has vast experience working with medical users, dental users, restaurant concepts and also offers retail brokerage services for tenant and landlord representation for national, regional, and local clients, as well as pad and inline users and has completed several 1031 exchanges on individual deals in excess of 10 million dollars over the course of his career.

Jeremiah Maupin, Senior Broker

Jeremiah Maupin, a Denver Metro Area Commercial Real Estate veteran of nine years, brought successful Office, Retail, Industrial, and Medical leasing and sales experience to the team. He has successfully represented companies such as American Bank, The Animal Assistance Foundation, Newspan Media Corporation, and Sleep Colorado Inc. Prior to joining John Propp Commercial Group, he was President at 5280 Commercial Real Estate in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

Michael S. Honc, CCIM, CPM, Realty Advisor

Since 2010, Michael has been assisting clients with the protection, enhancement, acquisition, and disposition of real property throughout the Denver Metro, Northern Colorado, and Colorado Springs markets.  From traditional brokerage, management, and leasing services to receivership and collateral evaluation of non-performing loans, Michael helps clients secure, retain, and recapture value.

Michael offers clients more than a decade of experience in management, brokerage, leasing, renovation, and development of commercial, single-family and multi-family properties.  With a reputation for consistently putting his ethical and fiduciary responsibilities to his clients first, Michael has been appointed as real property receiver by District Courts in ten Colorado counties.

A Realtor® since 2010, Michael achieved the CCIM Institute’s Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in March 2015 and the Institute of Real Estate Management’s Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation in April 2016.

Virginia Martin, Finance Manager

Virginia’s affiliation with John Propp Commercial Group further solidifies the skills of the overall team. Joining the firm in 2003, Virginia brings 30+ years of vast accounting experience, a history in non-profit and construction cost accounting, and a strong background in real estate and property management.  Her focus is on all things financial – from budget and financial statement preparation and analysis to monthly management reporting.  Virginia acts as the liaison to investors, lenders, and tax professionals.  She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/Accounting, and is a licensed real estate broker.

Jean McKeon, Property Manager

Jean’s extensive background in property management, together with her excellent people skills, makes her a natural for the position. Jean enjoys creating value for a property by resolving difficult issues and pursuing the owner’s objectives while establishing positive tenant relations. Jean’s attention to detail is second to none. She has worked in the real estate industry for over 35 years, with more than 25 years in property management. Jean earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Colorado at Denver.  Jean is a licensed real estate broker.

Deanna Collins, Executive Assistant to President

Deanna brings over 35 years of real estate experience to Team Propp.  Deanna has extensive skills in property management, leasing and sales. Deanna’s skill set is utilized to assist John Propp and the brokerage team in all aspects of the business.  Her good people skills allow her to interact well with our clients, tenants and vendors.

Jessica Martinez, Property Manager

Jessica brings almost two decades of property management experience to John Propp Commercial Group. Over the years, Jessica has serviced a diverse portfolio in property management; single family, multi-family, commercial offices, retail and HOA management.  Jessica has excellent working relationships with tenants, landlords and vendors.  Jessica Martinez was born and raised in Denver, Colorado.

John Schultz, Property Manager

John is a Colorado native, born and raised.  He attended high school in the Denver metro area and then University of Colorado Boulder, earning a degree in Environmental Biology.  He has been involved in all facets of the property management industry.  He has managed health club, warehouse, commercial office and parking structures.  He understands the big corporate aspect of real estate as well as the smaller local business and incorporates his learned lessons into every day practice.  He is LEED Green Associate certified, and believes in bringing environmentally sustainable improvement to each property where practical.  He is believes in energy conservation and innovation, having led many green improvements throughout the various properties (LED conversions, touchless restroom conversion, HVAC efficiency studies, etc.).  He strives to keep the property up to the owner’s high standards and aims to improve on expectations.

Paul Sesson, Property Manager

Paul has over 20 years of Real Estate experience and 15 of that in Commercial Property management.  Paul obtained his Real Estate License in 2006 and sold residential property until he moved to commercial property. He worked as a facility manager and then later as a property manager in a portfolio with over 1 million square feet spanning across the Denver Metro Area.

Since joining John Propp Commercial Group, he has continued to manage office and retail properties in the Denver metro area performing all the management, budgeting, CAM Reconciliations, and property inspections required.  He has been an active member in BOMA over the years and works hard to stay current with real estate trends and tenant expectations.

Jason Thomas, Property Manager

Jason Thomas is a 25-year commercial real estate veteran with extensive experience in property management, asset management, construction management and brokerage. Throughout Jason’s career, he has worked for some of the world’s largest commercial real estate companies including CBRE, Inc., Cushman and Wakefield, Inc. and Grubb and Ellis, Inc. as well as several boutique real estate firms. With extensive and broad experience, Jason has the knowledge, skills and acumen to provide best-in-class service to his clients.

Jason holds a B.A. in Sociology from Regis University, magna cum laude, and an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Lamar Community College, magna cum laude. He is a licensed real estate broker, member of the Kappa Gamma Pi National Catholic College Honor Society and is a former Deputy Police Marshal and County Detention Officer.
